Learn the basics of watercolor with our featured guest artist, Mickey Velarde. Mickey is a watercolor artist who specializes in portraits, travel and food illustrations. She has illustrated for local storybooks and publications and has been commissioned for portraits in weddings and events.

Projects to be covered include:

1. An Introduction to Travel Illustration Using Watercolor
2. Tools and Materials
3. Basic Composition (Perspective)
4. Plein Air
5. Guided Step-by-Step Watercolor Exercises
   • Painting Techniques
   • Color Mixing
6. Final Project

Workshop FAQs:

1. Do I need to prepare materials? - No need! Everything you'll need for this class will be provided on the day itself. However, you may still choose to bring your own tools and supplies if you'd like.
   
   
2. What are the inclusions? - The workshop fee comes with the following:
   • Snacks
   • Watercolor Paper
   • Watercolor Brush
   • Spray Bottle
   • Watercolor Case & Pans
   • Watercolor
   • Paper Cups
   • Towels
   
   
3. Can I cancel or reschedule? - Strictly no refunds and rescheduling. Once paid, the slot is deemed claimed. If you failed to join your schedule but failed to do so, you cannot reschedule or ask for a refund. 
   
   
4. Can I transfer my slot? - Yes. You may transfer (or gift) your slot to a friend. Make sure to email us at least 3 days before the workshop so we can process this. Need help? Please click the chat button for assistance.
   
   
5. How do I know if I've secured my slot? - You will receive an email from our team 3-5 working days from your payment. Didn't receive one? Please check your spam folder because it can sometimes get lost there.
   
   
6. Can I bring a friend? - No. There are only limited seats and space for our workshop. Only paid and verified attendees shall be allowed to enter the premises.
   
   
7. Is there parking space? - Yes. You may park for free at Waltermart beside our building. See photos for a detailed map with locations and landmarks.

The workshop fee is only for 1 (one) person. Strictly 1 (one) person per slot. If you wish to buy several slots, please select the correct quantity.
